Au Pair

Решила что давно не писала ничего про Сабрину.  Она у нас уже 3,5 месяца, и в принципе писать особо не о чём, что говорит что мы все очень довольны друг другом.  Никаких проблем что были раньше у нас с ней нет.  Дети кушают адекватно, одеты правильно и по погоде, по дому делают всякие вещи типа убирают свои комнаты, иногда моют посуду, помогают со стиркой, и т.д.  Излишний телевизор не смотрят, ходят по разным паркам и мероприятиям, познакомились с другими детьми (Сабринына подружка-опэр за ними смотрит), очень довольны. 

Сабрина обзавилась кучей друзей и в нерабочее время её дома практически нет, что меня полностью устраивает.  Иногда они всей компанией (в Субботу их было человек 7) приходят к нам и сидят у Сабрины в комнате, болтаю, громко смотрят телек и слушают музыку всю ночь напролёт.  В такие моменты я просто счастлива что между нами 2 этажа и нам их не слышно. 

Вот в принцепе и всё.  Будем надеятся что и дальше у меня будет очень мало постов про Сабрину.

Aha, and all Brazilian.

I talked to her last night about extra jobs. She is completely broke. lol They were planning to go to Niagara Falls next weeked and she told her friends that she cannot go. Plus she is stressing out about getting winter clothes. That girl needs to start budgeting.

I think she is hopeless. I gave her $140 on Sunday (she is paying me back for the plane ticket to LA and has 2 more weeks of reduced check) and she has nothing left already. She needs $150 to go the Canada, and when I told her that she will get another $140 this week, she said it will not cover her.

I think she is hopeless, but she will have to learn. She wants to buy notebook, camera, and ipod while she is here. We are planning on getting her camera for Christmas, but I am not bying her notebook. I may give her a gift card to Old Navy or something so she can get some warmer clothes, but I haven't decided yet how much to give her. She is faily low maintanece in terms of brands or labels, but likes Marshals. I think Old Navy may be cheaper then Marshals for her to get sweaters and an jacket. I don't want to get her Visa gift card, because she may end up not using money for clothes and I need her to get warm clothes.

I don't think she is hopeless... I think she has the right host mother who is capable of teaching a hopeless one...
I am sure she wants to have some skills with money, it must be shameful and hard to be like that... I bet she owes money to her friends in Brazil for the program still, too..
